Daily Mass Guidelines

Please keep the following guidelines in mind as we resume Daily Mass at St. Joseph

  • Worshipers who are sick or high risk should NOT attend Mass.
    This includes but is not limited to:
    o Do you have a fever?
    o Have you been exposed to someone with COVID-19?
    o Do you have respiratory issues?
    o Are you immunocompromised?
    o Are you over 65?
  • Worshipers are to use the restroom only if absolutely necessary.
  • Worshipers are strongly encouraged to receive Communion in the hand.
  • There will be no Sign of Peace.
  • There will be no holy water in the fonts.
  • Please maintain social distancing – sit in every other pew at least 6 feet apart and maintain a 6-foot distance when receiving Communion.
  • Please do not congregate before or after Mass.

Mass will continue on Facebook Live for the Fifth Sunday of Easter on May 10, 2020, at 9:00 am

Next Week…

Daily Masses in the church will begin on May 11th at the normal time of 8:30 am.  Weekend Masses will begin on May 16th and 17th.  We are in the process of implementing changes from the Diocese of Charleston  – please stay tuned for more information to come in the next week.
We are also implementing an additional Mass to help with Social Distancing that will be on Sundays at 6:00 pm.
We will continue to have one Mass (Sundays at 8:00 am) live-streamed on Facebook Live for 3 weekends after the weekend masses resume.

Lenten Sacrifice Donations

Thanks to your Lenten generosity St. Joseph Catholic Church was able to donate $928 to Catholic Charities AND $928 to the Lowcountry Food Bank. Thank you to parishioners Kathy O’Donald and Jerry Gray for delivering the checks!
